1st July 2008 - The Bee Hatchers play again! A message from my friend Nick Jew and the rest of the band -
For those of you who don't know, the Bee Hatchers are playing a reunion gig at Bush Hall in London on Saturday 19th July and we have a new CD out today. Exciting times indeed!
Any profit we make up to the gig - both from ticket sales and from the sales of CDs - will go to a charity called the Towersey Foundation, and you can see who they are here: www.towerseyfoundation.org.uk/
We would love it if you could come along to the gig and bring as many people as you can so we can raise a good cash sum for the charity. It's a beautiful venue used my many big-name bands for album launches/press shows (e.g. REM, Lily Allen, Turin Breaks, Duffy, Star Sailor, etc.). See http://www.bushhallmusic.co.uk/HTML/gigpictures1.htm.
I know several people are using the gig as their own reunion for old school/Uni friends. That works for us!
There will be a limited number of tickets on the door on the night so if you do think you might be able to come along the tickets are available online from Bush Hall: www.bushhallmusic.co.uk
Click on the link, click "Buy" beside the Bee Hatchers date and then follow the instructions... Thanks to everyone who's bought a ticket so far.
As mentioned, the new album 'Songs That Got Away' is finally available from today! You can hear snippets on the myspace site - www.myspace.com/thebeehatchers
Again, any profits for sales up to 19th July go to charity.
Hopefully see you at the gig - and we hope you enjoy the album.
THANK YOU from the Bee Hatchers and the Towersey Foundation.
The Bee Hatchers
